Most of us grew up in churches that portrayed God as a God of vengeance and wrath. We were afraid our life after death could be spent in eternal flames. We were certainly not the kind of sons that would ever set creation free. True sons of God have changed their perspective of their heavenly Father to be a loving God, and they live in His love. As we begin to look at the letter to the Church at Ephesus in The Unveiling of Jesus Christ, we see this as the first issue perfected sons must overcome.

The book of Revelation (which we refer to as "The Unveiling of Jesus") is typically considered a book about the cataclysmic battles to occur with the end of the world. But in our conversations in the last weeks, we are looking at the book in a vastly unique way. The battle about to happen and is already happening is not on an earthly plane, but in our minds. Listen or watch our group discuss the personal ways in which we think these battles have or will occur in our lives, to remove the veil that covers our minds from the full knowledge of Christ in us.

JAU Zoom Meeting 7-30-23 ”Where is Jesus?”

Where is Jesus at this moment? Is He in heaven waiting to return to the earth and unleash the judgments of God? Or is He already here on the earth in our lives? If we believe Christ lives in us now, then that changes how we look at the book of Revelation. It is not a book about world events to come, but the process of Christ being "unveiled" in us. Our group discusses how the first chapter gives us clues to the where-abouts of Jesus in John's vision.
