Welcome to a new year of conversations about living as Jesus. We start this year of 2024 talking about the need in many people's lives for some real hope. What will help people most in the face of so many bleak circumstances in our political and economic world? We are convinced that people want more than the usual "bumper sticker" brand of Christianity to give them confidence and peace. They need to see Jesus and how best to see Him than through our lives. We know Jesus as the Savior who appeared as a baby in the manger, but do we know Him as Lord? Our discussion in this episode deals with the process God performs to cause us to bend the knee and confess with our mouth, Jesus IS Lord (Phil. 2:9). This is the power of the "new-same name" of Jesus that we will see in our lives and in the next age (Rev. 3:12).

What does it mean to be zealous? In this episode of JAU Sunday morning Zoom meeting, Dennis and David discuss what they believe Jesus is referring to when He used the word in Rev. 3:16. They ask how Jesus Himself showed what it meant to be zealous from His own life and teaching.

Our group today talks about how God is behind the open and shut doors, and when we know Him and His heart, we can live with confidence in His will.

A recent article on the regrets of people in their last hours of life prompted our group in this episode to ask, do we have any regrets? Do we regret not having the revelation of Jesus in us earlier in our lives? Do we regret that we may have missed out on a different course in life than the one we have lived? JAU Focused Session 11-15-23 ”Is God One or Three?”

In this episode, our JAU focus group tackles chapter 15 "The Restitution of All Things" from J P Eby's book Savior of the World. This is a pinnacle chapter in Eby's position that the end of the world is not what is typically taught in the "Baylon Church". Eby believes all things will be reconstituted back to God, and not destroyed in hell fire. We begin discussing his premise by focusing on the fact of God's oneness and why it is important to his position.

Living and expressing your life as Jesus means following a different protocol than Scripture or religious doctrine. It requires listening to your heart, something modern Christianity has been afraid to teach.
