For privacy reasons, the greater portion of our discussion today was not recorded. Certain members of our group are facing some serious decisions and were asking where and what is Jesus doing in this crisis? The recorded portion includes some of our general thoughts and conclusions for all of us in these troubled times.

 

 

We cannot know that Jesus lives as us unless we know that He has first become us. What did Jesus have in mind when He became us? If He lives as us, do we comprehend Him? Does He override our wills?

God says we are now living as Christ, but how did this happen? How and when did we become Jesus? Is it something we do or is it done to us? Our focus is on 2 Cor. 5:18-21 as the answer to this question.

The questions for discussion in this recording are 1.) How would you speak or act if you knew you were never going to die? And what is the difference between these two statements, "All that you say, we will do" and "Christ is my life, my only life"? Knowing and speaking the life we have as Jesus can help set others free. Rom. 8:18-22

Our group discusses the challenge of helping others know Jesus lives as us. Is it a certain book, teacher, or otherwise? How will creation come to know God as we are? (Rom. 8:19)

In this episode, Dennis is finally able to interview his long-time friend Drifter, whose life is a story of God's grace. Drifter tells how God has become his endearing "Daddy" through all his "street" life and fifteen death experiences. He also tells how the revelation of Jesus living in him has given him new freedom to be himself.
