Jesus asks His disciples to look upon the "countrysides, for they are white for the harvest is already" (John 4:35). He is speaking metaphorically about people, but who they? Are they "lost" people as traditionally viewed by the Christian church, or are they people already God's children trying to find their true identity in Him?

Believers often question what is God's will and how to obey it. The answer is to know Jesus inside of us and we inside of Him. In this podcast, our group discusses how this works. It is only in Jesus that we get to know the Father, and knowing the Father is key to knowing what He desires to accomplish through our lives.

Dennis and Arnold talk about how sharing about Jesus with someone can seem to make your heart warm and overcome even the need to eat. Why is this the case? Why did Jesus not have to eat when He was doing to the "will of the Father"?

In John 4:23, Jesus introduces the concept of "true worshipers". Who are these believers? As Jesus declared, they would no longer be going to special places to praise God. Did God create 118 trillion people on the earth just to take them off to heaven? What about his plan for people in this earthly life? Our discussion in this episode asks the question, what is God's real plan for us now? Is it as Christianity has taught just a preparation for heaven or hell? Thankfully, we are finding that Jesus and God are interested in making this life the best in everyone created.

Where do you go to find God? Most Christians are taught they need to go to church or seek God in a special place. Jesus teaches us that God is the well of life eonian residing inside each believer. In this episode, our group discusses how this change in location alters how we pray, worship, or give. We realize that God is the well we constantly drink from through Jesus.

It is amazing what a little preposition makes, especially in the language of the original Greek New Testament. For most English translations, John 3:16 has one basic meaning, but when you see the preposition used in the original Greek, you see something profound. You won't read this famous verse the same anymore.

Have you ever been asked a question that challenged or caused you to open your mind to a different way of seeing things? Our conversation today looked at the power of provocative questions, like the one Jesus asked the woman at the well in John 4. His question broke open the woman's perceptions of God and the true source of life.

Many Christians are also locked into a theological framework that prevents them from seeing who and where God is in their lives. They need to be asked a question that will break open their strongly held belief systems.
