JAU Zoom Meeting 9-18-22 Romans 1 ”Is God mad?”
Sunday Sep 18, 2022
Sunday Sep 18, 2022
Our JAU group begins a series of conversations based on the book of Romans. A question that prompted this discussion has to do with how to relate to the LGBTQ community knowing we live as Jesus. What does Paul say about this issue in the first chapter? What is God's attitude toward these people or sinners in general? What does Rom. 8:28 say about God's ultimate purpose?

Sunday Sep 11, 2022
Sunday Sep 11, 2022
On this 21st anniversary of the terrorist attack on the US, we all know the impact it had on our way of life. But what impact has the "9/11" of the spiritual world had on our lives? What changes should we see in our lives knowing that we all died with Jesus (Rom. 6:6; 2 Cor. 5:24)?

JAU Zoom Meeting 9-4-22 ”Face to Face”
Sunday Sep 04, 2022
Sunday Sep 04, 2022
This is a touching episode of our JAU Sunday Zoom meeting. Personal stories were shared of witnessing the death of loved ones and their being transferred into the spiritual realm with Jesus. However, is death the only time we see Jesus? Paul tells us that we will see Him "face to face". When will that be, and what happens to us when we do see? Scott Wakefield joins Dennis for a conversation, following up Scott's blog post with the same title. What does God say we see when we look in a mirror? JAU Zoom Meeting 8-14-22 ”See Jesus as He is”
Sunday Aug 14, 2022
Sunday Aug 14, 2022
After a two week break, our group met again via Zoom to review a teaching presented at the JAU Summer Reunion 8/6/22. The teaching was entitled "The Revelation of Jesus and the Feasts of Israel" and "The Spiritual Revelation Phases". You can find downloadable copies at www.nwmenscoalition.com on the Resource page. This morning's question concerned how Jesus will appear as the fulfillment of the Feast of Tabernacles. How will He appear? How will we see Him?

Sunday Jul 17, 2022
Sunday Jul 17, 2022
There are many people, even devout Christians, who have no expectation of the future of their lives. They have no idea what to expect. In this episode, we discuss what Paul refers to in 1 Thess. 4:13.

JAU Zoom Meeting 7-10-22 ”No Jesus, no blessing”
Sunday Jul 10, 2022
Sunday Jul 10, 2022
Christianity has taught everyone is entitled to the promise of blessings from God. All they need to do is follow the principles and rules laid out in the Bible. Paul teaches that this is not the truth of his evangel. Only in Jesus are the blessings and the promised expectations found. What does that look like? Our group discusses how Paul's statement in Gal. 3:16 lays the foundation for living as Jesus. He is our life. We have no other life.

JAU Zoom Meeting 7-3-22 ”Christ has set us Free!”
Sunday Jul 03, 2022
Sunday Jul 03, 2022
We have all heard that Jesus has set us free, but from what? Most believe it is just from the penalty of sin. Actually, Jesus has set us free from being controlled by the wrong spirit. Most people don't realize how free they really are!
Happy Freedom celebration!

JAU Zoom Meeting 6-26-22 ”Are we nobodies in Jesus?”
Sunday Jun 26, 2022
Sunday Jun 26, 2022
Paul says there is no ethnicity, social class, or gender in Jesus (Gal.3.28). Does that mean we are "nobodies"? How do we view our uniqueness as the image of God and still be one in Jesus? Scott's blog post: https://myscottpage.blogspot.com/2022/06/mehim.html

JAU Zoom Meeting 6-19-22 ”Our Busy Father God”
Sunday Jun 19, 2022
Sunday Jun 19, 2022
On this 2022 Father's Day edition of our JAU meeting, our group discusses how our heavenly Father is always working in each of us, even in our bad times. His motive is "to will as to also work for the sake of His delight...working all together for the good..."(Phil. 2:13; Rom. 8:28). We reflected on some amazing ways He has been working in our lives, friends, and family.
