Our conversation today centers around the phrase "lukewarm", as it is used in Revelation 3:16. What did Jesus really mean by this phrase? Was He calling for more dedication or commitment, or was there another issue at stake? From the context of the scripture in which it is used, what do we find was really on the mind and heart of Jesus?

Inspired by a recent article, our group discusses what environments best enable a person to find the Truth. Why is it difficult for the institutional church to allow people to ask the tough questions? Do we need to safeguard our Biblical perspectives? Can we trust Jesus to help us navigate the need for what is true or false?

Welcome to a new year of conversations about living as Jesus. We start this year of 2024 talking about the need in many people's lives for some real hope. What will help people most in the face of so many bleak circumstances in our political and economic world? We are convinced that people want more than the usual "bumper sticker" brand of Christianity to give them confidence and peace. They need to see Jesus and how best to see Him than through our lives. We know Jesus as the Savior who appeared as a baby in the manger, but do we know Him as Lord? Our discussion in this episode deals with the process God performs to cause us to bend the knee and confess with our mouth, Jesus IS Lord (Phil. 2:9). This is the power of the "new-same name" of Jesus that we will see in our lives and in the next age (Rev. 3:12).

A recent article on the regrets of people in their last hours of life prompted our group in this episode to ask, do we have any regrets? Do we regret not having the revelation of Jesus in us earlier in our lives? Do we regret that we may have missed out on a different course in life than the one we have lived? In this episode, our JAU focus group tackles chapter 15 "The Restitution of All Things" from J P Eby's book Savior of the World. This is a pinnacle chapter in Eby's position that the end of the world is not what is typically taught in the "Baylon Church". Eby believes all things will be reconstituted back to God, and not destroyed in hell fire. We begin discussing his premise by focusing on the fact of God's oneness and why it is important to his position.
