JAU Zoom Meeting 5-28-23 ”Jesus or the Holy Spirit?”

On this Pentecost Sunday, we discuss how, contrary to traditional Christian doctrine, it was Jesus in the Spirit that came to the disciples on that day in 30 A.D. What is about Jesus that the world and even Christians are so ignorant?

JAU Zoom Meeting 4-9-23 ”Resurrection Sunday everyday”

A small group joins Dennis on this Resurrection Sunday Zoom meeting. We discuss how the message of "Easter" has been conflicted. Christianity has told us that we should be remorseful as guilty sinners on Good Friday, but other than celebrating Christ's resurrection, we still walk out of the Easter service as sinners. 
Where is the real good news that we have arisen free from sin in Jesus?! Every day in Him is an adventure.

JAU Focused Session 4-5-23 ”In Due Time”

Our Focused conversation today again looks at the apparent conflict of God's plan for the ages and man's choice. When we choose to look through the lens of the Tree of Life, we see how the two align. We also need to look at scripture through an unbiased search.

JAU Zoom Meeting 4-2-23 ”The Second Eve”

One of our group members made the statement in jest that the Bible never talks about a "Second Eve" like it does the Second Man Jesus. Little did he know that his comment would spark a whole new thread of conversation in the deeper understanding of who we are as children of God in the womb of the church - the wife of Christ, the "second eve". Try to open your "eyes of understanding" for this one.

Our group gets into the always difficult understanding of the God's will and man's free choice. How can the two entities both be true? Where does man's free choice interplay with God's predetermined will and plan? Listen and try to understand for yourself.

Our Sunday morning group discusses how the perspective has changed in their concept of God. For most of us, we always looked to God for something - favor, forgiveness, etc. With the understanding of Christ in us, we now look for ways to do things from or with God.

Scott and Dennis discuss what has transpired in their lives over the last three years since starting this podcast. Their conversation includes looking at the old flesh, sin, and revival. Can Christ living in us have a more lasting impact than a revival?
